Central nervous system diseases refer to a group of diseases caused by chronic progressive degeneration of central nervous system tissues. Pathologically, neuronal degeneration and loss can occur in the brain and/or spinal cord. The main diseases include Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
